The Adventures of Baron Munchausen | Movie Review

Before he made The Fisher King, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and 12 Monkeys, Terry Gilliam took us on a bizarre and whimsical ride where you experience meeting the king of the moon (who is sometimes just a head), falling through a hole and ending up on the other end of the earth, being chased by the angel of death and flying away in an air balloon constructed out of women's underwear. Alejandro and Stephen struggled trying to explain this 1988 adventure fantasy film that made no money but received multiple awards and critical acclaim.
